Devon Energy declares net loss of US$4.5b in Q4 2015

The company announced intentions to divest of US$2-3 billion of non-core assets as well as its 50% stake in the Access Pipeline (owned jointly with MEG Energy). Production grew by 16% yr/yr thanks in part to the Jackfish SAGD project in Alberta.

Devon cut its dividend 75% to just $0.06/share and will be reducing its staff by 20% in 2016.
