The fire was confined to the sulphur plant and did not impact the integrity of the main processing plant. There were no injuries reported. Production at the Christina Lake site was been temporarily suspended amid investigation into the incident. The company is now working towards resuming normal operation at the SAGD facility will resume.

Christina Lake normally produces about 80,000 bbl/day.
