Alberta's economy expected to contract again by 0.5% in 2016

ATB Financial is predicting Alberta's economy contracted by 1% in 2015 and will contract again by another 0.5% in 2016. The bank is calling for oil prices to bottom in the first half of the year, before staging a recovery by year end, spurring mergers and hiring in the energy patch.
